Consultant, Advisory Services

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Work in collaboration with Advisory consultants to enhance performance in healthcare systems.

• Conduct billable work for clients.

• Engage in teams to assess and address client needs.

• Direct data analysis and interpret findings.

• Develop initial recommendations based on data interpretations, observations, and interviews.

• Prepare deliverables tailored for diverse audiences.

• Assist in the implementation of suggested improvements.

• Identify challenges, formulate hypotheses, plan and conduct interviews, lead analyses, synthesize findings, and draw conclusions.

• Contribute input and support for team deliverables and presentations throughout the project lifecycle.

• Supervise an Analyst’s work when necessary.

• Engage in practice development, mandatory training, approved educational opportunities, and internal initiatives.

• Achieve utilization targets for client billable projects.

• Create value through client interactions, analytics, insights, and team involvement.

• Design and maintain dynamic, interactive data models based on Premier and client requirements.

• Spearhead efforts for process standardization.

• Standardize and automate deliverables for clients and internal tools.

• Diagnose issues with Tableau workbooks, SQL scripts, and Excel analyses.

• Acquire data, manage and oversee analyses, prepare presentations, and ensure that methodologies meet established standards.

• Engage in client interviews and compile findings into conclusions and recommendations.

• Implement project plans in accordance with statements of work and client needs.

• Create client presentations and deliverables that effectively communicate strategy and outcomes.

• Generate billing revenue through analyses, reports, and support for implementation.

• Identify market opportunities and relay potential leads to management.

• Contribute to the development of Advisory Services practice.

• Familiarize with Premier technologies and services.

• Complete required annual training.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.

• High School diploma (Required).

• Awareness of market trends and the activities of key competitors.

• Proficient negotiation skills and effective strategies for closing sales.

• Strong networking abilities.

• Knowledge of clients and the healthcare industry.

• Understanding of risk management practices.

• Capability to gather and research data utilizing common tools and analytical methods.

• Experience with statistical tools like R, Python, SAS, or Matlab.

• Advanced proficiency in Excel.

• Familiarity with Tableau and Business Intelligence tools.

• Knowledge of Lean Process Improvement; Six Sigma Green/Black belt certification.

• Background in healthcare, business, or finance.

• Demonstrated interest in healthcare performance management.

• Proven ability to lead and derive value from initiatives.

• Experience in analyzing complex healthcare datasets and creating visualizations and presentations.

• Proficient in both qualitative and quantitative data validation and analysis.

• Experience with the development of new methodologies and strategic problem-solving.

• Capability to remain stationary for extended periods.

• Flexibility to adapt quickly, change priorities, and meet deadlines.

• Strong attention to detail.

• Competence in using computer programs and software.

• Effective communication skills with audiences both in-person and electronically.

• Ability to make independent decisions.

• Ability to collaborate closely with peers in a setting with varying interruptions.

• Willingness to travel 61-80% within the United States.
