Construction Project Manager – Solar, BESS, Renewables

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Oversee large-scale solar and battery energy storage initiatives throughout the United States.

• Manage intricate construction operations and multiple simultaneous projects.

• Guide and empower project teams and apprentices.

• Collaborate with energy clients across the nation to provide storage solutions that enhance grid resilience and promote decarbonization.

• Ensure adherence to environmental safety protocols and compliance.

• Foster company culture, values, key outcomes, and quality management practices.

• Document and convey project progress, performance, and challenges to stakeholders.

• Direct and manage project resources, including personnel, equipment, subcontractors, and materials.

• Align resources, activities, and deliverables in accordance with the Project Execution Plan.

• Own and manage the project budget, costs, forecasts, and timelines.

• Oversee contract documents, risks, and changes.

• Manage project integration, scope, time, cost, quality, human resources, communications, risk, procurement, and stakeholders.

• Enhance apprentices' skills and knowledge through effective coaching and mentoring.

• Implement Prevailing Wage & Apprenticeship compliance in collaboration with the PWA team.

• Maintain apprentice/journeyman pairings and ensure PWA deliverables are submitted to the owner.

• Address PWA inquiries to subject matter experts and guarantee prompt responses.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

• A minimum of five years of experience in the construction industry, with knowledge of construction techniques, estimating, and management.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, Primavera, Timberline, and other construction software.

• Capability to read, analyze, and interpret blueprints, professional journals, technical procedures, contracts, or governmental regulations.

• Competence in writing reports, business correspondence, and documenting project activities.

• Ability to present information and address inquiries from project managers, superintendents, clients, customers, and the general public.

• Skill in presenting information to senior management, public groups, and boards of directors.

• Ability to perform calculations involving discounts, interest, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.

• Capacity to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

• Proficiency in solving practical problems and managing a variety of concrete variables in standardized situations.

• Ability to interpret written, oral, diagrammatic, or schedule-based instructions.

• Willingness and capacity to travel to job sites 60% of the time.

• Ability to adhere to safety precautions in job site environments.

• May be required to undergo pre-employment background checks and drug testing.
