Construction Project Manager – Luxury Villa

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Oversee the procurement process for construction materials, finishes, equipment, and other requirements for projects.

• Monitor material availability, lead times, orders, shipments, and deliveries.

• Coordinate shipping, customs, delivery timelines, and staging for a jobsite located on an island.

• Create, maintain, and update the project schedule.

• Organize trades and subcontractors while ensuring the project adheres to its critical path.

• Anticipate potential delays and supply chain challenges before they affect the timeline.

• Collaborate with subcontractors, vendors, project personnel, and other stakeholders remotely.

• Assist in pre-construction tasks and ensure projects are adequately prepared for execution.

• Keep precise project calendars, schedules, procurement logs, and documentation.

• Provide regular updates on project progress to company leadership.

• Directly communicate with vendors and trades via phone, email, and other communication methods.

• Proactively follow up on pending items and ensure commitments are fulfilled.

• Uphold confidentiality and adhere to proper remote access and project security protocols.

• Take charge of a high-end luxury villa construction project in the Caribbean.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in construction project management, covering both pre-construction and active project scheduling.

• Experience in coordinating subcontractors, vendors, materials, and project timelines.

• Strong background in procurement and logistics, especially with long-lead materials.

• Thorough understanding of construction sequencing and project dependencies.

• Fluent conversational English with strong communication skills over the phone and in writing.

• Capable of independently managing a construction project remotely without continuous oversight.

• Excellent organizational skills and a commitment to follow-through.

• Comfortable interacting with trades, vendors, subcontractors, and company leadership.

• Available for full-time work and committed to this project/company.

• Experience in luxury residential, custom homes, villas, resorts, or hospitality construction.

• Background in island or remote location construction projects.

• Experience in coordinating international shipping, customs, or logistics for remote sites.

• Familiarity with high-end finishes and materials where quality and timing are crucial.

• Project Engineer experience with significant project coordination responsibilities will also be taken into account.

• Resume must be submitted in English.

• Must be willing to work within a U.S. timezone.
