Construction Project Manager II

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +3 more states.

📋 Description

• Supervise a variety of projects, encompassing tower inspections and maintenance, tower decommissioning, tower drop and swap, as well as new Edge builds, from initiation to closure.

• Formulate project teams, allocate responsibilities, determine resources and budgets, and create schedules for timely, cost-effective completion.

• Develop project coordinators.

• Lead and manage all phases of projects from start to finish and ensure smooth handoff.

• Maintain a thorough understanding of site status reports, contracts, electrical/grounding systems, site plans, and drawings.

• Uphold SBA safety regulations and policies related to construction and maintenance.

• Oversee construction financials, including purchase orders, budgets, and job closure procedures.

• Guarantee quality construction while adhering to budget and timeline constraints while prioritizing customer satisfaction.

• Create and oversee project plans and budgets.

• Secure necessary building and electrical permits.

• Cultivate relationships with customers, engineers, suppliers, subcontractors, and consultants.

• Direct and supervise subcontractors and third-party vendors.

• Monitor and report on progress statuses and variances.

• Establish strong connections with outsourced engineering and specialty construction vendors.

• Ensure contract scopes and deliverable timelines are adhered to with minimal change orders.

• Enhance efficiency and lower project costs through innovative thinking and leadership.

• Contribute to ongoing improvement and comprehensive process optimization.

• Collaborate cross-functionally with various organizational teams and departments.

• Engage in siting decisions alongside Land & Leasing and ZAP teams.

• Work with the Zoning Team to verify site design aligns with jurisdictional requirements through IRR model discipline.

• Execute other assigned projects and responsibilities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in a related discipline is preferred.

• 3-5 years of experience in Project Management, specifically in construction or site development projects.

• Previous experience in managing construction projects is highly preferred.

• Experience in overseeing subcontractors to ensure completion in line with schedules, customer expectations, and budget constraints is preferred.

• Certification as a Project Management Professional (PMP) from PMI is preferred.
