Construction Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Michigan.

📋 Description

• Oversee stakeholder engagement with architects, engineers, and supply chains to ensure project compliance

• Assess, monitor, and manage critical milestone activities to prevent delays in scheduling

• Confirm the implementation of effective project governance, processes, and systems

• Apply best practices consistently across all projects

• Generate formal project status updates and additional required documentation

• Supervise various construction projects to ensure adherence to approved design standards

• Manage supplier relationships through monthly tracking and weekly evaluations

• Facilitate project information exchange via regular meetings and written communication

• Predict and revise project milestones and budget forecasts

• Oversee and evaluate local design teams based on commission criteria

• Offer technical support to owners, architects, general contractors, and regional stakeholders

• Quickly respond to field Requests for Information (RFIs)

• Provide expertise in cost management, value engineering, and constructability assessments

• Conduct independent reviews of status reports, drawing submissions, timelines, and costs

• Assist in client management and the development of client relationships

• Guide project teams on strategies to meet client and business goals

• Document key project information and insights

• Identify opportunities for enhancements to internal systems and processes

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, architecture, engineering, or a related field

• Strong organizational and leadership abilities

• Capability to work effectively and collaboratively within a larger team

• Proficient presentation skills

• Expertise in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Procore, and construction project management software

• Excellent communication skills

• Must comply with relevant SOX control responsibilities
