Construction Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Lead and oversee significant signage projects from their inception and design through to final completion for national programs and accounts.

• Collaborate across various trades, including electricians and fabricators, to guarantee smooth integration and execution.

• Manage projects valued at over $75,000, frequently involving specialized materials and low-volume production runs.

• Act as the subject matter expert for architectural signage, encompassing design, fabrication, and installation processes.

• Supervise the installation of custom elements such as canopies, graphics, and valences.

• Question assumptions and resolve issues to keep project momentum on track.

• Convert customer design intentions into feasible, buildable solutions utilizing design software.

• Create, interpret, and assess construction drawings and elevation plans.

• Ensure adherence to technical specifications and site requirements.

• Maintain project documentation and provide regular updates to stakeholders regarding progress.

• Negotiate, execute, and authorize change orders in accordance with project objectives.

• Review drawings and Bills of Materials (BOMs) prior to production release.

• Analyze architectural drawings to pinpoint design challenges and opportunities for enhancement.

• Work collaboratively across functions to ensure design feasibility, structural integrity, and alignment with client expectations.

• Assess design processes, tools, and results to enhance efficiency and quality.

• Mentor and provide support to other project managers.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of two years of experience in complex signage programs or construction, coupled with an architectural design background.

• Proficiency in designing architectural elements using AutoCAD or SolidWorks.

• Strong customer service orientation and effective client-facing communication skills.

• Inherent understanding of Bills of Materials (BOMs) and their connection to fabrication processes.

• Excellent analytical skills.

• Technical expertise in electrical systems, construction documentation, and material specifications.

• Experience executing high-value, custom projects.

• Preferred proficiency in Procore and MS Office.

• Strong capability to read and interpret blueprints.

• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and coordinate activities across different trades.

• Legal knowledge and contractual understanding to protect company liabilities.

• Familiarity with construction environments and industry practices.

• Knowledge of AIA documentation and procedures.

• Exceptional design sensibility with the capacity to visualize detailed solutions from concept to job site execution.
