Construction Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Ensure that all projects are executed safely and within deadlines.

• Continuously adhere to and promote the Georgia-Pacific PBM process.

• Provide direct support to the plant in areas such as troubleshooting, asset strategies, project development, and execution.

• Collaborate with engineering teams to guarantee that engineering drawings and scopes of work are complete, accurate, and feasible for construction.

• Foster a customer-centric approach in project management and construction while striving for enhancements in project execution.

• Guide and influence various organizations to establish direction for transformative initiatives across multiple platforms.

• Oversee multiple project assignments and their execution, adapting to changing deadlines as business requirements evolve.

• Conduct annual performance evaluations for team members.

• Create training programs to sustain a continuous learning environment tailored to the needs of Georgia-Pacific and the building products division.

• Lead a highly effective team of construction superintendents.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least five (5) years of leadership experience in construction specifically within the manufacturing sector related to project and equipment installation.

• A minimum of ten (10) years demonstrating project management expertise and robust analytical skills.

• Must be able and willing to work in an industrial manufacturing environment, which may include prolonged exposure to noisy, dusty, non-air-conditioned, or unheated areas.

• Proficient in utilizing Microsoft Office Products efficiently.

• Willingness and ability to travel as required, based on project demands.

• Ideal candidates should be located in or be open to relocating to Georgia.

• Preferred candidates will have fifteen (15) or more years of experience in industrial manufacturing construction.

• Experience in leading managers of individual contributors and/or large departments or facilities is preferred.

• Familiarity with construction projects within operating industrial facilities is preferred.

• Experience with large crane and rigging projects for industrial applications is preferred.

• Experience in leading improvement teams is preferred.
