Construction HSE Coordination Activities Director

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France.

📋 Description

• Oversee a team of coordinators and safety professionals operating nationwide

• Assist in the evolution of the Prevention Division’s initiatives and support the management of the national business line

• Market and execute the services provided by the business line

• Inspire, lead, and organize the teams effectively

• Conduct HSE coordination and prevention management tasks

• Contribute to the overarching strategy of the agency

• Engage in sales meetings and steer sales initiatives and proposals

• Prepare or supervise the preparation of proposals and amendments within the limits of delegated authority

• Select project managers and consultants according to their skills and qualifications

• Enhance delivery and invoicing timelines

• Track contractual deadlines and ensure client commitments are met

• Oversee the budget, financial dealings, and collection of overdue accounts

• Implement Quality and Safety protocols and respond to audits, particularly MASE audits

• Manage recruitment processes and the development of competencies

• Address non-conformities, complaints, and disputes, and be involved in their resolution

• Drive corrective actions and suggest safety enhancements

⛳️ Requirements

• A two- to three-year higher education degree or a four- to five-year higher education degree

• Over five years of experience in HSE coordination and prevention in civil engineering, public works, or construction

• Technical and regulatory knowledge in HSE coordination and prevention in the civil engineering/public works domain

• Comprehensive understanding of the industry

• Initial management experience and profit-center oversight

• Exceptional organizational abilities and attention to detail in technical management and project oversight

• Strong customer service orientation and active listening skills

• Self-driven, with the capacity to collaborate effectively within a team

• Excellent interpersonal skills and client relationship management
