Configuration Management Advisor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Ensure that the correct configuration items are assembled for building applications and are released to the appropriate environments in a repeatable manner.

• Maintain the release schedule and ensure that environment-flow tasks are completed in a timely fashion.

• Oversee CI Change Management.

• Review project status reports and adjust schedules and plans as necessary.

• Ensure that Configuration Management standards are adhered to for CO and CI.

• Identify and schedule project deliverables, milestones, and required tasks within project, build, release, and sprint activities.

• Ensure that releases are deployed punctually while fulfilling client expectations.

• Act as a liaison between applications and operations teams.

• Conduct operational readiness assessments, version definitions, and lessons learned reviews.

• Direct, coordinate, and facilitate the activities of project personnel to meet deployment timelines.

• Conduct pre- and post-communication with stakeholders.

• Ensure that issues are logged, assigned, monitored, scheduled, and verified.

• Support Configuration Status Accounting and Reporting.

• Assist with CM Baseline Verification Audits.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in Configuration Management and Build and Release Management.

• Proficient in MS Project, Visio, ServiceNow, OneNote, Jira, and Azure DevOps.

• Experience in environment integration or database conversion management relevant to release management.

• Excellent communication abilities.

• Adaptability to manage the evolving requirements of development projects.

• Support Configuration Status Accounting and Reporting.

• Assist with CM Baseline Verification Audits.

• Preferred: Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent Release/Change Management certifications.
