This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.
• Take charge of the design, implementation, and upkeep of CI/CD pipelines for C#/.NET and C++ projects across Windows and Linux build agents.
• Create, sustain, and oversee build automation systems to ensure smooth software builds and deployments.
• Develop and manage scripts for automating infrastructure deployment, monitoring, and configuration management.
• Oversee and diagnose pipeline failures while enhancing build performance throughout the toolchain.
• Implement and administer configuration management tools to ensure consistency across development, testing, and production environments.
• Document processes, procedures, pipeline architecture, and operational standards thoroughly.
• Collaborate with software developers, QA engineers, and IT operations to facilitate seamless product delivery.
• Champion enhancements to CI/CD processes, automation, and reliability.
• Progress towards ownership of the health, security SLAs, and incident response of build/release infrastructure.
• Minimum of 3 years of practical experience with a CI/CD system (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, TeamCity, or similar).
• Proficiency in automating processes using scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python).
• Capability to utilize REST APIs as a tool for process automation.
• Experience in Windows and/or Unix/Linux administration and scripting (Bash).
• Familiarity with Docker.
• Proficient with Git.
• Experience in collaborating across teams.
• Self-motivated and capable of independently managing tasks end-to-end with minimal supervision.
• Proficient in English to effectively communicate with international teams.
• Bonus: Knowledge of C# and C++.
• Bonus: Experience with monorepositories, large build artifacts, and cross-platform toolchains.
• Bonus: Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Ansible.
• Bonus: Experience in maintaining RPM repositories.
• Bonus: Knowledge of virtualization platforms.
• Bonus: Advanced expertise with package managers, including NuGet or Conan packages and custom Conan recipes.
• Bonus: Experience with monitoring/observability stacks such as Grafana or Prometheus.
