This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Czechia.
• Take charge of the design, implementation, and upkeep of CI/CD pipelines for C#/.NET and C++ projects utilizing Windows and Linux build agents.
• Create, sustain, and oversee build automation systems to ensure efficient software builds and deployments.
• Develop and maintain scripts for automating infrastructure deployment, monitoring, and configuration management.
• Monitor and resolve pipeline failures, while optimizing build performance throughout the toolchain.
• Implement and manage configuration management tools to maintain uniform environments across development, testing, and production stages.
• Document processes, procedures, pipeline architecture, and operational standards for clarity and consistency.
• Collaborate closely with software developers, QA engineers, and IT operations to facilitate smooth product delivery.
• Actively enhance CI/CD processes, automation, and overall reliability.
• Progress into ownership of build/release infrastructure health, security SLAs, and incident response as responsibilities expand.
• A minimum of 3 years of practical experience with a CI/CD system (e.g., Azure DevOps, Jenkins, TeamCity, or similar).
• Proficiency in automating processes using scripting languages (such as PowerShell or Python).
• Capability to utilize REST APIs for process automation.
• Experience with Windows and/or Unix/Linux administration and scripting (Bash).
• Familiarity with Docker.
• Knowledge of Git.
• Experience in collaborating across teams.
• Self-motivated and independent — comfortable managing tasks from start to finish with minimal oversight, and inclined to enhance workflows, not just complete current tasks.
• Proficient in English to effectively communicate with international teams.
• Bonus: Understanding of C# and C++.
• Bonus: Experience working with monorepositories, managing extensive build artifacts, and leveraging cross-platform toolchains.
• Bonus: Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (e.g., Ansible).
• Bonus: Experience in maintaining RPM repositories.
• Bonus: Familiarity with virtualization platforms.
• Bonus: Advanced package-manager expertise (e.g., publishing and maintaining NuGet or Conan packages, custom Conan recipes).
• Bonus: Experience with monitoring/observability stacks (e.g., Grafana, Prometheus, or similar).
