Composer – Sound Designer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ukraine, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Compose in-game music across various genres for online slot games.

• Develop sound effects and musical segments for animations and game events.

• Assemble game packages in different sound formats.

• Edit and mix audio for promotional videos.

• Collaborate with Game Producers, Studio Artists, designers, animators, developers, product teams, and external partners to bring game content to fruition.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 1 year of experience in composing and sound design within the slot industry.

• Ability to present examples of completed slot game projects, preferably including video demonstrations of the final implementation.

• A portfolio that showcases music and sound design work created for slot games is a required component of the application.

• Access to a home studio equipped with your own music production setup and extensive sound effect libraries.

• Experience in composing original music across a variety of genres, including orchestral, traditional, rock, electronic, and dance.

• A solid understanding of adaptive and interactive game audio, covering loopable music, gameplay-driven transitions, anticipation builds, and bonus stingers.

• Proven experience in producing high-quality sound effects for games and interactive products.

• Strong skills in audio editing, arranging, mixing, and mastering.

• Advanced proficiency in professional DAWs such as Ableton, Nuendo, Pro Tools, or similar platforms.

• Comprehensive knowledge of industry-standard plugins, virtual instruments, and contemporary music production workflows.

• Comfortable playing and recording musical instruments as part of the creative process.

• Understanding of player behavior and the significance of audio in enhancing engagement and game performance.

• Ability to work independently and confidently steer the creative direction of projects through music references and concepts.

• Proficient communication skills in English.
