Compliance & Reporting Engineer

📋 Description

• Develop and set up reporting forms that comply with state-specific regulations.

• Assist clients in implementing Mark43 in new locations.

• Collaborate with teams in Customer Success, Solutions Engineering, Product, and Engineering to grasp reporting requirements and convert them into scalable technical solutions.

• Create adaptable forms and reporting workflows that minimize customization while accommodating various customer needs.

• Work alongside customers to resolve reporting and compliance issues.

• Recognize opportunities for product enhancement.

• Set up engineering standards, processes, and best practices for a new team.

• Write and maintain JavaScript, JSON, and related scripts for form configuration and automation.

• Enhance internal documentation and tools for scalable compliance reporting.

• Candidates must be authorized to work for any employer in the country where the position is being filled.

• Professional experience in the public safety technology sector.

• Experience in building or configuring forms, workflows, or reporting solutions.

• Proficiency with Forms.io is highly preferred.

• Familiarity with scripting and configuration languages such as JavaScript, JSON, or similar technologies.

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate customer needs into technical solutions.

• Experience working collaboratively with Engineering, Product, Customer Success, and other cross-functional teams.

• Exceptional communication skills and the ability to interact directly with customers as needed.

• A customer-centric mindset.

• Comfort with ambiguity and the ability to establish new processes.

• A collaborative, humble attitude with a willingness to learn.

• A sense of ownership in your work.

• Ability to operate from one of Mark43's approved hiring locations: Canada, the UK, or one of the designated U.S. states.
