Compliance Operations Manager – Traffic & Content

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Cyprus.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of, enhance, and refresh the traffic and content compliance framework, policies, SOPs, and risk-scoring systems.

• Conduct audits of digital traffic channels, landing pages, and promotional assets.

• Identify prohibited content, cloaking practices, redirect manipulation, and suspicious attribution patterns.

• Lead investigations to determine the root causes of compliance breaches.

• Coordinate remedial actions, enforce partner restrictions, and monitor the resolution process.

• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Data teams to develop automated risk-scoring, internal compliance tools, and external monitoring systems.

• Monitor compliance metrics and analyze persistent risk trends.

• Provide management with decision-ready reports.

• Maintain documentation that is ready for audits by payment partners and regulatory bodies.

• Keep abreast of changes in payment network and industry regulations.

• Offer functional guidance and quality standards for compliance analysts.

• Conduct internal training sessions on monitoring and enforcement procedures.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in Compliance Operations, Risk Management, Fraud Prevention, or Traffic Quality.

• Practical experience in adult traffic compliance, affiliate marketing, and advertising networks is essential.

• Strong knowledge of URLs, redirects, referrers, cookies, and device fingerprints.

• Capability to evaluate risk using incomplete attribution data.

• Experience in performing operational audits.

• Background in implementing SOPs and compliance policies.

• Proven experience in managing root-cause incident investigations.

• Leadership experience and the ability to manage cross-functional projects.

• Skill in converting compliance requirements into Product, Engineering, and Data specifications.

• Proficiency in defining compliance KPIs and creating executive reports.

• Ability to make analytical decisions under pressure.

• Upper-Intermediate English proficiency or higher.

• Familiarity with compliance standards of payment providers, acquiring banks, or card networks is advantageous.

• Experience in identifying cloaking, brand misuse, redirect manipulation, and prohibited content is a plus.

• Knowledge of OSINT, web scraping, SQL/Python, BI tools, or LLM-based automation is a plus.

• Relevant professional certifications are an added advantage.
