Compliance Officer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona.

📋 Description

• Manage all compliance operations for the health plan, including the communication and coordination of policy formulation.

• Ensure the accurate and timely submission of contract deliverables across all lines of business and service delivery areas.

• Supervise the submission of all CMS Medicare SNP requirements.

• Act as senior leadership and the primary point of contact during state compliance meetings and interactions.

• Handle correspondence and daily communication with state regulators.

• Provide senior leadership in the audit processes conducted by the Department of Insurance and HHSC.

• Oversee all aspects of audits and related communications.

• Serve as senior leadership in the Enterprise Risk Management process, collaborating with corporate ERM and Executive Management.

• Conduct internal compliance audits, develop corrective action plans, and ensure their timely execution and adherence to regulatory standards.

• Oversee compliance for health plan material subcontractors, including annual reviews.

• Represent senior management at state committees, meetings, and seminars.

• Perform additional duties as assigned.

• Adhere to all policies and standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• Candidates for this position must reside in Arizona.

• A Bachelor's Degree in a related field, or equivalent experience, is required.

• A minimum of 7 years of experience in Compliance program management and contract work with State Medicaid programs, including internal and state audits, is essential.

• At least 5 years of experience with health care regulatory agencies in the development of compliance and fraud prevention programs is required.

• A minimum of 5 years of overseeing the implementation of contract requirements is necessary.
