This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee and execute audits and monitoring activities focused on non-coding compliance.
• Create audit scopes and tools, assess findings, compile reports, and coordinate corrective measures along with follow-up monitoring.
• Detect compliance trends, identify control weaknesses, and assess potential risks, escalating significant issues to the Chief Compliance Officer.
• Assist in the development, review, implementation, and upkeep of compliance policies and procedures.
• Design and manage compliance and policy education, communications, and associated resources.
• Operate the Healthicity compliance management system, covering audit, policy, incident, education, and reporting functionalities.
• Oversee designated compliance projects and support the execution and tracking of Compliance Work Plan activities.
• Conduct regulatory research and contribute to compliance risk assessments and the evaluation of regulatory changes.
• Create compliance metrics, reports, and materials for leadership and compliance governance functions.
• Assist in compliance investigations and other review processes.
• Work collaboratively with operational and corporate departments on compliance initiatives and corrective actions.
• Undertake additional responsibilities that support the compliance function under the guidance of the Chief Compliance Officer.
• A bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business administration, health information management, nursing, public health, compliance, legal studies, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• At least 3 years of experience in healthcare compliance, auditing, regulatory, risk management, or a related area.
• Proficient understanding of healthcare compliance requirements and the components of an effective compliance program.
• Experience in compliance auditing and monitoring, policy management, corrective actions, or operations of a compliance program.
• Experience in a physician practice, medical group, ambulatory, or multi-site healthcare setting is preferred.
• Preferred experience in managing compliance management software.
• Certification in Healthcare Compliance (CHC), Certified in Healthcare Privacy Compliance (CHPC), or other relevant certifications is preferred.
• Skills in compliance auditing and monitoring.
• Expertise in policy management and compliance education.
• Capability in regulatory research and analysis.
• Proficiency in project management and follow-through.
• Competence in data analysis and reporting.
• Professional communication and presentation abilities.
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work autonomously and escalate compliance concerns appropriately.
• Capability to perform computer-based office tasks, including remaining seated for extended periods, filing, and lifting/carrying office supplies.
• Ability to occasionally lift and/or move items weighing up to 20–25 pounds.
• Proficient in fine hand manipulation/keyboard use.
