Compliance Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pakistan.

📋 Description

• Oversee and assist the Compliance Manager in the daily functions of the Embedded Compliance Department.

• Ensure adherence to the Bank’s AML/KYC policies, procedures, and relevant regulatory standards.

• Maintain continuous awareness and understanding of regulations established by the Central Bank of the UAE.

• Aid business units in resolving compliance-related challenges and offer compliant, feasible solutions.

• Intervene as necessary to halt a transaction, process, or business proposal.

• Assist in the execution of compliance initiatives within RBG as directed by the Head Office Compliance.

• Monitor relevant internal and external compliance mandates and pinpoint issues that could affect the bank.

• Help maintain compliant internal policies and procedures.

• Foster relationships with business units and facilitate compliant solutions.

• Aid in AML/Compliance training programs for staff within the business group.

• Support enhanced due diligence for high-risk businesses and assess high-risk relationship proposals.

• Review eName checker referrals and provide compliance insights.

• Assist in the preparation of Compliance/AML reports and management information.

• Address audit and assurance inquiries.

• Represent Compliance in various projects, including compliance-related initiatives and system implementations.

• Collaborate with Audit, Business Units, and Governance.

• Cultivate effective stakeholder relationships while maintaining objectivity and professionalism.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with 5-7 years of banking experience in KYC/EDD.

• Proven experience in KYC/EDD review for HNI/UHNI clients and Business Entities clients.

• Proficient in computer skills.

• Strong command of spoken and written English is essential.

• Knowledge of Arabic is a beneficial asset.

• Familiarity with UAE regulations is an additional advantage.

• Excellent presentation and Excel capabilities.

• Systematic and logical approach to problem-solving.

• Strong decision-making skills.
