This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Act as a reliable advisor for Planet clients, balancing operational demands with compliance requirements in CMMC-related initiatives.

• Create or enhance policies, plans, processes, procedures, action plans, and other documentation in CJIS and FedRAMP settings.

• Conduct interviews with customer staff, present conclusions, perform security evaluations of systems/environments, and deliver compliance training.

• Execute compliance audits, assessments, and gap analyses to pinpoint opportunities for enhancement.

• Collaboratively design customer policies and procedures to ensure compliance adherence.

• Support the development and standardization of service offerings in line with industry trends.

• Utilize the latest tools and technologies to assist Planet's prestigious clients.

• Influence Planet's service offerings and client strategies.

• Effectively deliver and communicate assigned project tasks.


⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of experience with various compliance standards such as CMMC, NIST 800-53, NIST 800-171, DoD Risk Management Framework (RMF), CIS, HIPAA, CJIS, and FedRAMP compliance.

• A bachelor's degree in a technology-related discipline is preferred.

• Certification in at least two relevant areas (e.g., security, compliance, project management), ideally including CCP and/or CCA Certification.

• Comprehensive understanding of Microsoft capabilities that support compliance within Azure and Office 365.

• More than 3 years of experience in Data Security & Compliance.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Security Compliance Audits, focusing on NIST 800-53, FedRAMP, NIST 800-171, or CMMC v2 frameworks.

• Proficiency in regulatory compliance, cloud security and compliance, and Microsoft compliance tools.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a strong attention to detail.

• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work effectively in both team settings and independently as required.

• Capacity to collaborate effectively with Compliance SMEs, Technical Architects, Sales teams, and Planet customers.

• Proven track record of success in a collaborative work environment.

• Willingness to travel as necessary per customer requests.

• Ability to obtain and maintain basic security clearance.

• US Citizenship (clearable) is required.
