Compliance and Risk Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee Rayda's compliance and risk management framework for both internal operations and third-party vendors.

• Develop and oversee the vendor risk management program, which includes risk classification, due diligence, Know Your Business (KYB), and periodic assessments.

• Maintain Rayda's compliance register, risk register, and compliance calendar, ensuring that obligations and controls have clearly designated owners.

• Monitor key controls, compliance deficiencies, and remediation efforts, escalating significant risks as needed.

• Assist with information security and privacy compliance, including SOC 2, ISO 27001, GDPR, and customer security mandates.

• Identify and manage operational risks related to Rayda's devices, logistics, vendors, payments, and data operations.

• Respond to customer compliance requests, security questionnaires, audits, and evidence requirements.

• Collaborate with Procurement, Operations, Finance, IT, Engineering, HR, and external legal advisors to establish necessary controls and compliance protocols.

• Provide leadership with regular updates on compliance status, significant risks, control effectiveness, and remediation activities.

• Continuously enhance and automate Rayda's compliance and risk processes as the organization expands.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 4 years of experience in compliance, risk management, internal audit, governance, risk management, vendor risk, information security governance, or a related field.

• Demonstrated experience in designing or managing compliance and risk management processes.

• Familiarity with third-party/vendor due diligence and risk assessment methodologies.

• Strong grasp of operational risk, controls, risk registers, and remediation strategies.

• Experience with compliance policies, procedures, and control frameworks.

• Solid understanding of legal, regulatory, compliance, and commercial risks, along with the ability to differentiate among them.

• Experience working cross-functionally with Operations, Finance, IT, Engineering, HR, and leadership.

• Excellent judgment, attention to detail, and organizational skills.

• Capability to work independently in a rapidly growing environment where processes are still evolving.

• Experience in technology, SaaS, procurement, or international operations is a plus.
