Compliance Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Oregon.

📋 Description

• Prepare, review, and submit product and policy form filings to state Departments of Insurance.

• Conduct research on insurance laws and regulations.

• Develop responses to regulatory inquiries and objections.

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to integrate compliance requirements into products, forms, and processes.

• Assist in the implementation of approved product and form modifications across the organization.

• Contribute to compliance programs, policies, procedures, training, and risk management initiatives.

• Work alongside underwriting, claims, marketing, technology, business teams, and regulatory agencies.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Law, Finance, Risk Management, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

• Over 3 years of experience in insurance compliance, insurance regulatory affairs, or a similar insurance role.

• Strong understanding of individual or group insurance products, with a preference for Accident, Critical Illness, Hospital Indemnity, Disability, and/or Life insurance.

• Preferred experience in preparing and submitting Department of Insurance (DOI) product and form filings.

• Preferred experience in researching and interpreting state insurance regulations and regulatory requirements.

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and written communication abilities.

• Capacity to work effectively with cross-functional business partners.

• Preferred experience in supporting product implementation, regulatory change management, or compliance risk programs.

• Successful completion of a criminal background investigation and verification of employment, education, and licensing.

• Must be bondable.
