Compliance Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assist in the daily operations of River’s compliance, fraud, sanctions, complaints, and dispute programs.

• Utilize data analysis to detect patterns in client behavior, highlighting risks and operational deficiencies.

• Take ownership of operational enhancements to River’s compliance tools and workflows by pinpointing inefficiencies and advocating for changes grounded in data.

• Work collaboratively with the Product and Engineering teams to enhance and automate compliance operations, supporting River’s growth.

• Implement and refine the policies, procedures, and controls of River’s compliance program.

• Collaborate with Client Services and Finance to assist in investigations and propose suitable risk-based solutions.

• Engage in compliance-related outreach to clients, ensuring a balance between regulatory obligations and delivering an exceptional customer experience.

• Aid in regulatory examinations, audits, and responses to legal and law enforcement inquiries.

• Provide updates to River’s leadership regarding trends, progress, and developments within the compliance program.

• Previous compliance experience is not mandatory.

• A strong sense of ownership, curiosity, growth mindset, excellent communication abilities, and a desire to work directly with clients.

• Proven experience in data analysis and risk management.

• Familiarity with data analysis tools (e.g., SQL).

• Strong personal initiative, dependability, and the capability to manage competing deadlines effectively.

• Resourceful problem solver with a creative approach to challenges.

• Ability to convert high-level objectives into clear, actionable operational processes.

• Eagerness to learn, develop, and take on new challenges.

• Interest in Bitcoin and alignment with River’s mission.

• Must possess authorization to work in the USA.

• College or university information and GPA must be included in the application form.
