This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Estonia.

📋 Description

• Oversee employee benefits programs throughout the US, Canada, and Mexico.

• Cultivate relationships with benefits providers, brokers, and third-party administrators.

• Address escalated benefits inquiries from employees and HR Business Partners (HRBPs).

• Collaborate with Finance and Payroll teams regarding deductions, funding, and reconciliations.

• Maintain documentation for benefits and ensure compliance with necessary regulatory filings.

• Lead the annual open enrollment process, including planning, timelines, system configurations, and communications.

• Assess plan design alternatives and benchmark the competitiveness of benefits plans.

• Set up enrollment events, eligibility criteria, and employee information in Workday.

• Create enrollment communications, frequently asked questions (FAQs), and educational resources.

• Perform post-enrollment audits and rectify discrepancies in HRIS, payroll, and with carriers.

• Assist in annual merit and compensation planning, including materials for managers, Workday task setups, and merit uploads.

• Provide guidance to HRBPs on compensation policies, band structures, and Workday functionalities.

• Facilitate off-cycle compensation adjustments, promotional increases, equity modifications, and offers for new hires.

• Support short-term incentive initiatives, covering data collection, payout calculations, and communications.

• Act as a resource for HRBPs regarding compensation and benefits across the US, Canada, and Mexico.

• Counsel on total rewards considerations for new hires, transfers, promotions, and organizational restructurings.

• Represent Total Rewards in HR operations meetings and project teams.

• Identify recurring issues and propose enhancements for programs or processes.

• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations across the US, Canada, and Mexico.

• Keep abreast of legislative and regulatory changes and suggest program modifications.

• Assist with both internal and external audits concerning compensation and benefits.


⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field is required.

• Over 7 years of progressive experience in compensation and/or benefits administration.

• Experience in managing multi-country programs within the Americas.

• Direct, hands-on experience in administering benefits programs in the US is required; experience in Canada is strongly preferred; experience in Mexico is preferred.

• Comprehensive understanding of US benefits regulations, including ERISA, ACA, HIPAA, COBRA, and FMLA.

• Excellent communication skills for conveying complex total rewards concepts.

• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.

• Capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

• Collaborative, solutions-oriented mindset with strong relationship-building skills.

• Familiarity with Canadian provincial benefits regulations.

• Understanding of IMSS/AFORE structures in Mexico.

• Experience with annual merit and compensation planning cycles and system-based compensation planning tools.

• Proficiency in HRIS platforms, particularly Workday’s compensation and benefits modules, is strongly preferred.

• Background in global job architecture and job evaluation frameworks such as Radford.

• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is preferred; knowledge of Canadian French is a plus.

• Familiarity with equity compensation programs, including RSUs and stock options.

• CCP, CBP, or PHR/SPHR certification is preferred.
