Comparator Sourcing Lead – Clinical Supplies

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Deliver timely market intelligence and research on comparators, encompassing pricing, availability, lead times, and sourcing challenges.

• Offer sourcing recommendations based on current market conditions and future projections.

• Provide guidance on regional and central/local/hybrid sourcing strategies.

• Assess additional packaging or labeling requirements in collaboration with the client.

• Issue purchase orders for comparator supplies as necessary and manage the purchasing and delivery process.

• Report temperature excursions, quality issues, and other concerns to the client promptly.

• Serve as a subject matter expert on comparator sourcing, market trends, innovation opportunities, product shortages, regulatory environment, and demand variability.

• Share external comparator sourcing trends and updates to enhance innovation and operational efficiency.

• Collaborate with the client’s Comparators and Collaborations team, including Clinical Operations, Clinical Supply Chain, Regulatory, and Procurement functions.

• Engage in various client portfolio projects or focus on a specific project.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a scientific field.

• Extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry (including pharma, vaccines, or consumer healthcare).

• Strong capability in project management and performance delivery.

• Proficient in influencing, negotiating, and communicating at various business levels.

• Possess a continuous improvement mindset.

• Adaptable and responsive to shifting business priorities.

• Preferred knowledge of supply chain operations within a pharmaceutical or vaccine context.

• Preferred familiarity with CMC medicine development and all stages of clinical trials.

• Prior experience in supplier relationship management and building connections with third-party providers is preferred.
