This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Lead or assist in housing and community development planning studies for municipalities, counties, and regional planning organizations.

• Prepare or contribute to HUD Consolidated Plans, Annual Action Plans, and associated citizen-participation and needs-assessment deliverables.

• Offer technical assistance in CDBG and related HUD grant administration, encompassing compliance, reporting, drawdowns, and program documentation.

• Develop housing needs analyses, market and attainable-housing assessments, along with actionable implementation strategies.

• Organize stakeholder and public engagement sessions; deliver clear, client-ready reports and briefings.

• Contribute qualifications related to housing, community development, and grant administration, as well as past performance narratives to AlphaGov proposals when authorized.

⛳️ Requirements

• Practical experience in housing, community development, or consulting related to HUD/CDBG, or delivery through public agencies.

• Capability to produce Consolidated Plans, housing plans, and grant administration technical assistance work products for local or regional government clients.

• Comfortable working as a 1099/project-based collaborator, with the willingness to travel as necessary for client site visits.

• Previous experience with HUD Consolidated Plans, Annual Action Plans, or CDBG grant administration.

• Experience in regional planning, including MPO or COG housing and transportation studies.

• Expertise in the design or technical assistance of attainable, workforce, or trust-fund housing programs.

• Familiarity with local government procurement processes in Florida, Texas, Georgia, or Massachusetts.
