Commercial Underwriting Coordinator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Evaluate commercial insurance policies and pricing as a part of the renewal process.

• Assess policy details to facilitate informed pricing decisions and optimize renewals.

• Conduct manual reviews and process policies in line with established underwriting criteria and guidelines.

• Handle accounts with premiums ranging from approximately $5,000 to $25,000.

• Identify information that requires further examination or focus during the underwriting process.

• Ensure high accuracy in reviewing and processing policy information.

• Organize workload and prioritize tasks to meet set deadlines.

• Utilize Microsoft systems and internal tools to review, document, and process underwriting data.

• Support the consistent application of underwriting standards and internal protocols.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of professional experience.

• Preferred experience in insurance, underwriting, commercial insurance, or financial services.

• Proficient in English communication skills.

• Strong analytical abilities with a keen eye for detail and precision.

• Excellent time management, organizational, and prioritization skills.

• Capability to review policies, pricing, and data while adhering to established underwriting guidelines.

• Proficiency in Microsoft systems and applications.

• Ability to work independently in a structured, process-driven environment.

• Valid local legal authorization to work in the country where the role is based at the time of hire.

• Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
