Regional Manager – Commercial Real Estate Underwriting

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Oversee a team responsible for underwriting, structuring, and servicing commercial credit transactions.

• Set and track expectations to meet organizational and departmental objectives.

• Propose and implement enhancements to team processes, procedures, and efficiencies.

• Manage the performance, training, and assessment of team members.

• Foster associate growth through constructive feedback.

• Assist in talent management initiatives and advocate for a diverse, inclusive, and respectful workplace.

• Assess and optimize the use of talent, technology, and resources within the designated team.

• Suggest updates to procedures and standards.

• Ensure team adheres to departmental procedures, standards, and quality production requirements.

• Monitor performance metrics, relay outcomes to senior leadership, and drive performance enhancements.

• Build and sustain relationships with Bank leadership, peers, and lenders.

• Lead the team in cultivating robust lending relationships and enhancing the customer experience.

• Provide specialized knowledge in underwriting, servicing, and activities related to Commercial Lending.

• Assist Senior Leadership with identifying and mitigating risks.

• Recommend improvements to portfolio management and oversight practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree with 8 years of experience OR High School Diploma or GED/Equivalent with 12 years of experience in Commercial Lending or Credit Analysis and supervisory roles.

• Advanced expertise in commercial credit underwriting, including intricate credit structures and possibly specific industries.

• Strong leadership capabilities.

• Ability to foster partnerships.

• Experience in managing personnel.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is mandatory.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential.

• Experience with credit exposures of $5 million and above is preferred.
