This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Conduct or assess thorough title searches for commercial transactions, spanning from single-site to high-liability multi-site operations.

• Evaluate liens, judgments, easements, vital statistics, property surveys, ownership details, legal restrictions, legal descriptions, and the completeness of records.

• Determine pricing for commitments, endorsements, policies, and guarantees based on applicable fee schedules and charges.

• Review and authorize deeds, operating agreements, corporate resolutions, and other relevant documentation.

• Choose suitable write-ups for commitments and policies pertaining to standard and extended coverage.

• Collaborate with attorneys in certain regions to evaluate search packages and address issues that require escalation.

• Facilitate the resolution and completion of the commercial title process.

• Provide support to teams and clients within the commercial real estate sector.


⛳️ Requirements

• Experience in National Commercial is essential.

• A strong desire to assist customers while upholding a professional and positive demeanor.

• Demonstrated problem-solving abilities with a willingness to learn and share knowledge.

• Capability to utilize internal and external resources to collect information and resolve inquiries.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills when interacting with both internal and external clients.

• A natural curiosity and enthusiasm for researching transaction histories and assessing and evaluating records.

• Ability to collaborate effectively within a team and exceed customer expectations.

• Comfortable in mentoring others as they develop in the field.

• Proficient in the MS Office suite and quick to adapt to new software applications and technologies.

• Flexibility and capacity to manage multiple tasks while handling all aspects of title support.

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.

• 3-5 years of experience related to commercial title work.
