This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +1 more state.
• Cultivate and seek out long-lasting, profitable relationships with both existing and potential clients across designated regions and markets.
• Engage in professional sales and service interactions to nurture lasting customer connections.
• Establish, maintain, and oversee relationships with end users, contractors, and key customer representatives.
• Offer extensive product knowledge and thorough sales support across commercial product ranges.
• Monitor performance and create strategic plans to meet sales objectives.
• Conduct field sales operations and evaluate account-specific requirements.
• Recommend, sell, and follow up on customized customer solutions.
• Deliver technical support and dedicated account management for ongoing account growth.
• Engage in commercial activities and negotiations to ensure profitable expansion.
• Meet sales revenue, EBITDA, and personal targets.
• Generate new customer business through networking, referrals, and cold outreach.
• Present sales pitches and conduct product demonstrations.
• Gather customer requirements and prepare Requests for Proposals, inclusive of drawings, specifications, and contract terms.
• Facilitate communication between the AGI Quote Team and end users to ensure precise cost estimation.
• Collaborate with internal departments and divisions to resolve account issues and create solutions.
• Partner with management to optimize sales opportunities.
• Formulate competitive strategies and share market insights internally.
• Achieve sales and retention targets for all product offerings.
• Source and manage distribution channels as necessary.
• Build customer relationships and influence decision-makers in engineering, purchasing, quality, and manufacturing.
• Enter and oversee all Customer Opportunities in Salesforce.
• Strong sales and business acumen.
• Bachelor’s degree in Ag Business, Marketing, or a Technical field, or equivalent relevant experience.
• Over 4 years of proven sales or customer service success, ideally within the Ag Industry.
• Experience in the Grain Handling industry and technical knowledge of grain storage and handling preferred.
• Strong sales and marketing skills.
• Knowledge of market segmentation, product line profitability analysis, and new product development.
• Documented experience managing a complex technical product line.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Exceptional customer relationship abilities, including active listening.
• Strong communication capabilities.
• Ability to balance strategic vision with tactical execution.
• Capacity to manage confidential information appropriately.
• Ability to thrive and grow in a constantly changing environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
• Familiarity with ERP systems.
• General/managerial level understanding of 2D and 3D CAD systems and associated workflows.
