Commercial Real Estate Litigation Attorney

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Represent commercial property owners in intricate lease disputes, unlawful detainer actions, and lease breach issues.

• Draft and negotiate commercial leases, amendments, assignments, guaranties, and other related agreements.

• Oversee litigation from initial strategy to trial, encompassing pleadings, discovery, motions, depositions, hearings, and settlement discussions.

• Provide clients with guidance on lease interpretation, risk management, default remedies, and property-related legal concerns.

• Appear in California state courts throughout the entire litigation process.

• Cultivate trusted relationships with sophisticated clients in the commercial real estate sector.

• Collaborate closely with firm leadership on legal strategies and complex issues.

⛳️ Requirements

• Active member of the California Bar.

• Approximately 15+ years of litigation experience.

• Extensive experience in managing commercial landlord-tenant matters.

• Strong knowledge of commercial lease drafting, review, and interpretation.

• Proven ability to independently manage hearings, motions, and trials.

• Exceptional skills in legal writing, analysis, and advocacy.

• Capacity to work independently while also collaborating with a close-knit team.

• Excellent communication and client relationship management skills.
