Commercial Lines Account Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +4 more states.

📋 Description

• Cultivate robust relationships with clients in Commercial Lines Insurance as well as insurance company underwriters.

• Provide support to large and intricate commercial lines clients.

• Assess insurance applications, policies, endorsements, cancellations, and audits for precision.

• Keep thorough documentation of all client transactions.

• Investigate significant client issues using independent judgment and discretion.

• Oversee and facilitate the complete renewal process for designated clients.

• Prepare applications for insurance carriers.

• Engage in negotiations with underwriters.

• Review and evaluate quotes from insurance carriers.

• Create proposals for clients.

• Assist the Sales Executive in uncovering new business opportunities.

• Introduce new lines of coverage and suggest value-added services.

• Solicit referrals and nurture relationships with prospective customers.

• May supervise, guide, or mentor Account Managers and/or Account Assistants.

⛳️ Requirements

• Active Property & Casualty Insurance License as mandated by the respective state, or the ability to acquire one within 60 days from the hire date.

• Familiarity with commercial insurance coverage.

• At least 2 years of experience in Commercial Lines middle market account management with a broker.

• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.

• Capability to meet specific deadlines.

• Proficient in producing strong written and verbal communication.

• Must reside near an LP branch office.

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Risk Management, Insurance, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
