Commercial Kitchen Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Supervise all stages of equipment package installations for new store initiatives of a national chain.

• Plan, monitor, coordinate, and oversee equipment package installations from procurement to completion.

• Manage the procurement, consolidation, shipment, and installation of opening equipment packages.

• Ensure compliance with project timelines and quality standards.

• Collaborate with Design, Sales Operations, Distribution, General Contractors, subcontractors, and internal teams.

• Review bid and contract documents to ensure they meet contract requirements and design intent.

• Attend weekly meetings to provide project updates and address inquiries related to the project.

• Evaluate manufacturers’ quotes and authorize shop drawings for design compliance.

• Guarantee that jobs are delivered and installed punctually while optimizing profitability.

• Foster relationships with customers, vendors, and stakeholders through professional interactions and customer service.

• Utilize critical thinking and problem-solving skills to navigate project challenges.

• Maintain a focus on detail and uphold high standards of quality and accuracy.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a related discipline, or equivalent military or practical experience.

• 2–4 years of project management experience, ideally within the foodservice sector.

• Experience in sales/distribution is preferred.

• Ability to successfully pass a background check after offer acceptance.

• Strong organizational abilities and capacity to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Proficient in relationship building and providing customer service.

• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team with minimal supervision.

• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

• Up to 5% travel may be required.

• Willingness to work occasional overtime and weekends to accommodate customer needs.
