Commercial HVAC/R Service Technician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.

📋 Description

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair commercial HVAC and refrigeration systems.

• Conduct preventative maintenance and equipment inspections.

• Service heating, cooling, ventilation, and refrigeration equipment.

• Identify the underlying causes of equipment failures and execute necessary repairs.

• Test systems post-repair to ensure safe and proper functioning.

• Clearly communicate findings, repair requirements, and recommendations to customers.

• Accurately complete service documentation in a timely manner.

• Uphold a safe, tidy, and professional work environment.

• Travel to customer sites within the designated service area.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of commercial HVAC/R service experience is preferred.

• EPA Certification is mandatory.

• Strong skills in troubleshooting and diagnostics are essential.

• Experience in servicing commercial HVAC and refrigeration systems is required.

• Ability to work independently while managing a daily service schedule.

• Proficient mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills are necessary.

• Excellent communication and customer service skills are a must.

• A valid driver's license is required.

• Technical school training in HVAC/R or equivalent field experience is preferred.

• Must be able to regularly stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb, reach, push, and pull.

• Capacity to lift or move up to 50 pounds is necessary.

• Ability to climb ladders and work at heights is required.

• Must be able to work both indoors and outdoors in diverse weather and environmental conditions.
