Commercial HVAC Journeyman Technician – Union

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Inspect and uphold air-conditioning and HVAC systems to guarantee optimal performance.

• Identify and resolve mechanical and electrical issues in heating and cooling equipment.

• Install, replace, and calibrate HVAC components, such as thermostatic controls and liquid lines.

• Oversee chilled and hot water supply systems while adjusting internal control mechanisms.

• Service rooftop units, gas packs, heat pumps, split systems, and associated controls.

• Assemble and install metal ductwork and contribute to HVAC system planning and design.

• Keep detailed maintenance logs and ensure adherence to City, State, and EPA regulations.

• Recognize and address risks to sustain a safe working environment.

• Work alongside management to uphold safety and operational standards.

• Deliver expert and high-quality commercial HVAC services in the field.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of hands-on experience in the HVAC industry.

• Capability to push, pull, or lift up to 50 lbs.

• Possession of EPA Universal Certification.

• Must be able to stand, crawl, sit, and squat for prolonged periods.

• Ability to climb ladders and work on rooftops.

• High School Diploma or GED required.

• Valid and current Driver’s License is necessary.

• Must qualify for insurability by the company’s insurance provider.

• Basic knowledge of building automation controls is essential.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills are required.

• Experience with Salesforce and ServiceMax is an advantage.
