Commercial Finance Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Serve as a trusted Finance partner for Sales and Commercial leadership, offering insights and constructive challenges to facilitate significant business and commercial decisions.

• Collaborate with the business on revenue enhancement, pricing strategies, trade investments, customer/channel profitability, margins, and go-to-market strategies.

• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and both short- and long-term financial planning.

• Identify critical performance drivers, risks, and opportunities, translating them into actionable recommendations.

• Provide Finance leadership across East India, Nepal, and Bangladesh.

• Ensure management of month-end activities, financial reporting, commercial controls, compliance, and governance.

• Lead and nurture the Commercial Finance team.

• Promote process improvement, standardization, and automation of recurring Finance activities.

⛳️ Requirements

• CA or MBA with a focus on Finance.

• Approximately 8–14 years of pertinent experience.

• Extensive experience in Commercial Finance, Sales Finance, or Business Finance, ideally within the FMCG sector or a complex consumer-facing organization.

• Proven track record of collaborating with Sales/Commercial teams and influencing business decisions.

• In-depth understanding of commercial levers such as revenue, pricing, trade spends, margins, and customer/channel profitability.

• Experience in planning, forecasting, performance management, and financial governance.

• Strong capabilities in people leadership, analytics, and stakeholder management.

• A commercial perspective with the ability to balance business partnership while maintaining robust financial controls and operational discipline.
