Commercial Finance Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Drive commercial discipline throughout the Inquiry-to-Order process.

• Oversee precise cost rollups and conduct sensitivity analyses.

• Ensure adherence to delegation of authority approval policies.

• Assess cash forecasts, trade finance, FX strategy, and tax considerations to enhance bid strategy, cash flow, title transfer, and revenue recognition.

• Lead the consolidation and reporting of financial data.

• Assist in operational planning and forecasting.

• Engage in the operational rhythm within the business.

• Act as a liaison between Sales, Pricing, and Treasury teams.

• Negotiate financial triggers and aid in risk management, including hedging, trade finance, and payment security.

• Identify opportunities for process improvement, data accuracy enhancement, and increased financial workflow efficiency through LEAN practices.

• Support internal and external audits related to project accounting, process compliance, and business forecasting.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.

• Proven experience in Finance and/or Operations within a corporate setting.

• Proficiency in financial systems, data analysis tools, and ERP platforms.

• Previous experience in the energy sector or with large-scale industrial companies is highly desirable.

• Familiarity with long-cycle project accounting or large capital equipment business models is a considerable asset.

• Strong understanding of US GAAP and statutory accounting principles.

• Capability to align accounting requirements with ERP solutions.

• Ability to transform complex data sets into actionable insights and high-quality financial reporting.

• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to cultivate effective partnerships across various commercial and support functions.

• Legally authorized to work in the United States.

• Successful completion of a drug screen, if applicable.
