Commercial Counsel

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Offer legal assistance and strategic advice across various company departments, including senior leadership.

• Prepare and negotiate Master Service Agreements (MSAs), Statements of Work (SOWs), sponsorship and partnership contracts, marketing, media and affiliate agreements, product and technology contracts, along with other commercial agreements.

• Collaborate closely with teams in business technology and product development, social/free-to-play gaming, marketing, finance, and operations.

• Build robust working relationships and provide commercial solutions for intricate legal and regulatory challenges.

• Assist with commercial issues in a dynamic and rapidly evolving sports and gaming context.

⛳️ Requirements

• Juris Doctor degree from a distinguished U.S. law school.

• Admitted and in good standing with one or more state bars in the U.S.

• At least 3–5 years of legal experience focused on drafting and negotiating commercial agreements.

• General understanding of intellectual property principles.

• Excellent interpersonal abilities.

• Capability to thrive in a fast-paced setting with tight deadlines and competing priorities.

• Experience in a reputable law firm and in-house roles within a startup or large organization.

• Background in digital online gaming and/or sports betting is advantageous.

• Superior written and verbal communication skills, including proficiency in legal drafting.

• Capacity to independently manage a high volume of work.

• Experience in drafting and negotiating marketing agreements is a plus.
