Commercial Counsel

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Conduct reviews and negotiate commercial contracts with efficiency and accuracy.

• Recognize obligations, risks, and non-standard terms.

• Work collaboratively with the Crosby legal team to interpret contract provisions and highlight irregularities and exceptional cases.

• Detect inefficiencies and common review patterns, transforming them into process enhancements.

• Standardize and formalize recurring contract types and playbooks.

• Collaborate with engineering and operations to refine Crosby’s legal service delivery model.

• Manage Crosby’s AI tools while applying expert legal judgment.

• Take ownership of commercial contract outcomes from start to finish and enhance the client experience.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 4 years of experience reviewing commercial contracts in private practice or in-house.

• Exceptional attention to detail and sound commercial judgment.

• Capable of identifying hidden clauses, erroneous cross-references, and discerning significant information from irrelevant data.

• Maintain high standards for work quality.

• Adaptable to change and able to navigate confidently in a fast-paced, occasionally ambiguous environment.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Interest in or experience with AI technologies.

• Authorized to work legally in the United States.

• Required to disclose whether employer sponsorship is currently or will be needed to work in the United States.
