Commercial Contracts Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Concentrate on intricate technology agreements, especially SaaS contracts and other technology-related commercial agreements, as well as emerging technology issues across various US jurisdictions.

• Navigate the regulatory compliance landscape and jurisdiction-specific contracting factors across multiple US states and markets.

• Identify, evaluate, and proactively manage legal and regulatory risks associated with AI and experimental technologies, while ensuring commercial agility and deal momentum.

• Assist in customer and stakeholder engagement during the initial secondment phase to guide the development of a scalable managed legal services framework.

• Collaborate across various functions with business, commercial, and operational teams in a dynamic environment with changing priorities and deadlines.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experienced legal consultant with a background in advising on complex technology agreements and regulatory compliance issues.

• Strong expertise in complex technology and SaaS agreements.

• Proficient in negotiating and drafting commercial contracts with clients and/or technology providers.

• Preferred knowledge of regulatory compliance frameworks pertinent to AI, experimental technologies, and emerging technologies within US markets.

• Capability to excel in fast-paced, high-growth, and uncertain environments.

• Solid understanding of AI technology trends and the evolving regulatory landscape.

• Exceptional analytical, stakeholder management, and risk assessment abilities.

• Competence in managing competing priorities and working autonomously in a dynamic commercial setting.
