Commercial Auto Claims Representative – Property Damage, Bodily Injury

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assess and resolve all aspects of first- and third-party auto and garagekeeper’s claims.

• Perform claim investigations from a remote office environment.

• Adjust commercial auto and garagekeeper’s claims efficiently while maintaining accuracy.

• Manage business automobile-related property damage and minor bodily injury claims.

• Investigate losses comprehensively from inception to conclusion.

• Secure recorded statements from all involved parties regarding a loss.

• Identify coverage concerns and conduct thorough coverage question analyses.

• Compose coverage correspondence.

• Obtain and assess estimates, reports, and other pertinent evidence.

• Oversee first-party damages, PIP, medical payments, and UM/UIM claims.

• Manage third-party property damage and bodily injury claims.

• Address claims related to repairable, total loss, fire, theft, glass-only, cargo, in-tow, and trailer interchange incidents.

• Handle claims for both non-attorney-represented and attorney-represented cases.

• Accurately evaluate claim valuations, set reserves, and seek necessary authority.

• Process payments efficiently.

• Maintain claim files in accordance with established best practices for claims management.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.

• Strong proficiency in letter writing.

• Excellent organizational and computer skills.

• Outstanding time management skills with the capability to prioritize effectively.

• Self-motivated individual who can operate independently with minimal to moderate supervision.

• Strong aptitude for understanding and reviewing policy documentation.

• Ability to develop action plans for claims resolution.

• Capability to present files effectively in group settings.

• Willingness to travel for company or claim-related events if necessary.

• Must obtain and maintain all relevant state licenses.

• Bachelor's degree is preferred.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in handling property damage claims or 5 years in a relevant field.

• Prior experience with bodily injury claims is an advantage.

• Active adjuster license is preferred.
