Senior UX Writer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +21 more states.

📋 Description

• Create engaging, interactive advisor dialogues, promotional videos, articles, UX text, button labels, and error messages.

• Ensure a consistent voice and tone across both product and marketing materials.

• Organize branching and conditional logic to ensure it is understandable, constructible, and testable.

• Provide engineers with scripts and necessary system specifications.

• Consider API data and the complexities of real-world data.

• Generate and refine AI voiceovers.

• Direct live voiceover talent and select the most effective takes.

• Edit, mix, and subtitle audio to meet launch-ready standards.

• Manage CMS content from initial draft to live URL, ensuring quality against the script.

• Prepare scripts for Medicare compliance evaluations.

• Collaborate with leadership on feedback from carriers and CMS, revising content while maintaining quality.

• Bring scripts to life and work alongside designers, engineers, and other collaborators.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in a writing-focused, multidisciplinary role that includes interactive content, UX writing, conversational design, content strategy, or digital storytelling.

• Ability to write in a natural, conversational, and humorous style.

• Familiarity with branching logic and handling messy data.

• Strong auditory sense for voiceover timing and tone.

• Outstanding attention to compliance details.

• Capability to utilize AI as a productivity tool while recognizing and avoiding subpar output.

• A portfolio showcasing work that simplifies complex topics and makes dull subjects engaging.

• Background in interactive, editorial, advertising, or educational fields.
