College Admissions Researcher

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Perform research on college admissions and extracurricular opportunities available in high schools.

• Clearly and thoroughly present personalized findings to each family.

• Evaluate data from diverse sources to provide insightful advice to high school families.

• Work in conjunction with the Research Manager, Empowerly families, and counselors to share comprehensive findings.

• Maintain and update shared team spreadsheets to ensure a collaborative and up-to-date resource.

⛳️ Requirements

• Knowledge of the U.S. education and college admissions landscape.

• Strong proficiency in the English language.

• Ability to work independently in a virtual setting, including self-managing quality and adhering to routine deadlines of 72 hours.

• Willingness to dedicate sufficient time (approximately 0.5 - 2.0 hours) to research each family’s needs and adapt thinking when necessary.

• Proficient in G-Suite, or openness to learn G-Suite tools.

• Commitment to being responsive through email and Slack.
