Collections Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +24 more states.

📋 Description

• Make outbound calls and receive inbound calls to collect payments for both medical and non-medical accounts.

• Manage inbound and outbound phone communications efficiently and professionally to execute collections activities.

• Employ negotiation and customer service skills to achieve favorable outcomes.

• Comply with FDCPA, FCRA, HIPAA, and other relevant regulations.

• Work designated shifts, which include one evening shift, one monthly closing shift on a Friday, and one Saturday shift each month.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 1 year of experience in a Collections, Call Center, or Customer Service role involving regular public interaction.

• Capability to accurately enter and update information on company or client systems in a timely manner.

• Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

• Strong organizational skills are essential.

• Proficiency in handling multiple tasks concurrently.

• A focus on customer service and deliverables is required.

• Flexibility in scheduling and assignments, including regular evening and Saturday work as needed by the business.

• Ability to collaborate effectively within a team-oriented environment.

• A broadband internet connection is necessary; DSL or dial-up is not acceptable.

• A hard-wired internet connection is mandatory; Wi-Fi or hotspots are not permitted.

• Minimum internet speeds of 40 Mbps download and 5 Mbps upload are required.

• A camera must be used from the start of training until the end of each scheduled shift, excluding designated breaks and lunch; post-training, usage will be as directed by the supervisor or team expectations.

• Remote employees must reside within the United States and in one of the following states: AZ, NV, ID, MT, OH, TX, OK, KS, LA, AR, MO, IL, IA, MN, WI, MI, IN, KY, TN, PA, MS, AL, GA, FL, NC, SC, MD, or NM.

• Successful completion of all post-offer processing is required.
