This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +1 more state.
• Identify the underlying causes of overdue invoices utilizing problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Utilize system capabilities and predefined processes to address overdue invoices effectively.
• Operate within established protocols and maintain adherence to quality standards.
• Refer intricate issues to senior team members or leadership when necessary.
• Share suggestions for enhancing processes.
• Foster professional relationships with both internal and external clients.
• Ensure open communication lines and build rapport through prompt and professional service.
• Examine account discrepancies and address customer inquiries.
• Work collaboratively with internal teams to settle invoice disputes and enhance payment results.
• Continue to enhance skills and knowledge related to the collections process.
• Execute other responsibilities as per team and/or country-specific requirements.
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required.
• At least 2 years of experience in collections, cash applications, credit, accounts payable, or a related finance field.
• Bilingual in French is required.
• Proficiency in the French language (both spoken and written) is essential.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite is preferred.
• Strong and adaptable communication skills are preferred.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal abilities are preferred.
• Strong critical thinking skills and a demonstrated capacity to use independent judgment and make sound decisions are preferred.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, professional, and deadline-oriented environment is preferred.
