Collection Representative – SC

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +7 more states.

📋 Description

• Manage a substantial volume of both outbound and inbound calls with professionalism and poise.

• Negotiate payment arrangements that cater to consumer needs while aligning with company objectives.

• Achieve and surpass quality, compliance, and collections performance benchmarks.

• Keep precise account documentation and notes updated in real time.

• Reach out to consumers regarding overdue medical balances and negotiate payment terms and methods within established guidelines.

• Tackle common and complex objections while suggesting viable sources for debt repayment.

• Utilize scripts/verbatims and collection systems to maximize recovery on each interaction.

• Efficiently navigate multiple computer applications and databases while engaging with consumers.

• Adhere to FDCPA, state, and other legal compliance regulations.

• Foster trust through active listening, empathy, and effective communication.

• Complete the company collector training program and onboarding processes.

• Must reside in Wisconsin, Kansas, Georgia, Oklahoma, Florida, Arkansas, Tennessee, Texas, South Carolina, or North Carolina.

• Capable of clear verbal and written communication using correct grammar and telephone etiquette.

• Proficient in using the provided electronic tools.

• Able to navigate through multiple computer applications and databases.

• Skilled in multitasking while communicating over the phone and handling various systems.

• Proficient in overcoming objections and successfully negotiating payments.

• Reliable, responsible, punctual, and productive with time management.

• Demonstrates professional judgment.

• Ability to maintain the confidentiality of sensitive personal information and Protected Health Information (PHI).

• Competent in performing basic math calculations, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and percentages.

• Self-motivated and dedicated to career advancement.

• Willing and able to obtain Professional Collections Specialist (PCS) certification within one year of hire.

• High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) is required.

• Capable of successfully completing the company collector training program.

• Must pass initial, ongoing, and annual identity, criminal, and background checks.

• Must have reliable availability for a full-time daytime schedule.

• A private home office for exclusive use, with company equipment secured from others.
