Collection Representative – AR

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +7 more states.

📋 Description

• Manage a high volume of inbound and outbound calls with professionalism and assurance.

• Negotiate payment plans that align with consumer needs and the objectives of the company.

• Achieve and surpass quality, compliance, and collections performance targets.

• Keep precise account records and documentation in real-time.

• Reach out to consumers regarding overdue medical balances and negotiate payment options and methods in accordance with guidelines.

• Address common and challenging objections while suggesting financial resources for debt repayment.

• Utilize scripts/verbatims and collection systems to optimize recovery on each call.

• Ensure adherence to FDCPA and other state and legal requirements.

• Manage incoming consumer calls while on the dialer and initiate outbound calls.

• Build rapport through active listening, empathy, and effective communication.

• Learn and proficiently operate collection systems and programs.

• Complete all company collector training and onboarding processes.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must reside in Wisconsin, Kansas, Georgia, Oklahoma, Florida, Arkansas, Tennessee, Texas, South Carolina, or North Carolina.

• High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) is mandatory.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with proper grammar and telephone etiquette.

• Capable of using provided electronic tools.

• Competent in navigating multiple computer applications and databases.

• Ability to multitask while engaging in phone communications and using multiple computer systems.

• Skilled in overcoming objections and successfully negotiating payments.

• Dependable, responsible, punctual, and capable of using time effectively.

• Exhibits professional judgment.

• Must maintain confidentiality of sensitive personal information and Protected Health Information (PHI).

• Proficient in basic math calculations, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and percentages.

• Self-driven and dedicated to career advancement.

• Willingness and capability to obtain Professional Collections Specialist (PCS) certification within one year of employment.

• Must successfully complete the company collector training program.

• Clear initial, ongoing, and annual identity, criminal, and background checks.

• Private home office designated for personal use, with company equipment secured from others.

• Ability to adhere to a structured full-time daytime schedule without conflicting obligations.
