Coding, OASIS Reviewer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Evaluate OASIS and document suggested modifications in the authorized system.

• Assess ICD-10 coding and sequencing using the documentation available in the patient records.

• Finalize documentation of review findings and ensure that workflow processes are timely and precise.

• Record justifications for changes and the anticipated impact on reimbursement.

• Regularly achieve chart equivalent targets and quality benchmarks.

• Execute tasks on an as-needed basis for home health and hospice agencies.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 1 year of experience in medical coding or OASIS review.

• HCS-D certification.

• HCS-O or COS-C certification.

• Demonstrated ability to consistently meet deadlines.

• Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.

• Exhibits learning agility and actively seeks opportunities for teaching, support, and professional development.

• Comfortable with remote work setups and virtual collaboration tools.

• Ability to sit for extended periods, use a computer, and engage in telephone communication.

• Legally authorized to work in the United States.

• No work visa sponsorship available.

• Successful completion of a pre-employment background check, including a drug screening.

• Quality assurance experience in a post-acute setting is preferred.
