This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Work closely with data scientists and stakeholders to articulate analytical questions and convert business or scientific requirements into data-oriented solutions.

• Collect, clean, integrate, and analyze both structured and unstructured data from sources such as regulatory, R&D quality/compliance, drug safety, and/or non-clinical safety.

• Develop dashboards, visualizations, user interfaces, and/or reports that facilitate data-informed decision-making for both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Investigate new applications of artificial intelligence, machine learning, natural language processing, and advanced analytics within pharmaceutical research and development.

• Contribute to the creation of reusable data pipelines, code libraries, model documentation, and analytical workflows that enhance quality, transparency, scalability, and reproducibility.

• Present insights, recommendations, and technical strategies to project teams and stakeholders.

• Create LLM chatbots capable of searching unstructured data repositories for responses to regulatory authority inquiries.

• Assist in the development of human-in-the-loop content and document generation.

• Design agents that can scrutinize processes similarly to an auditor or inspector.

• Formulate SOP/guidance to ensure quality and oversight of AI initiatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven expertise in at least one programming language commonly utilized in data science, such as Python, R, or SQL.

• Basic understanding of statistics, machine learning, data visualization, and data preparation methods.

• Interest in areas such as drug development, biotechnology, pharmaceutical research, clinical development, regulatory science, or healthcare analytics.

• Strong analytical skills, problem-solving capabilities, attention to detail, and a desire to learn complex scientific and operational areas.

• Ability to clearly communicate technical concepts and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

• Comfort in working independently on assigned tasks while proactively seeking feedback and guidance from mentors and project teams.

• Legal authorization to work in the U.S.

• Must be at least 18 years of age before the scheduled start date.

• Currently enrolled in an accredited community college, college, university, or skills program/apprenticeship.

• Actively pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in data science, statistics, biostatistics, computer science, bioinformatics, computational biology, engineering, mathematics, public health, life sciences, or a related quantitative discipline.
