Cloud Network, SDN Engineer

📋 Description

• Design, implement, and troubleshoot multi-tenant Software Defined Networking (SDN), ensuring tenant isolation, VPC/overlay networking, and managing east-west/north-south traffic.

• Construct and optimize high-performance GPU interconnect fabrics, such as InfiniBand and RoCE, for distributed training, focusing on lossless configurations and congestion control mechanisms like PFC and ECN.

• Strategically plan and manage interconnect and routing across different regions.

• Oversee network change management processes and rapid fault localization to reduce the impact on tenants.

• Collaborate with Compute and Control Plane teams to enhance network-provisioning automation.

• Establish network architecture standards, security parameters, and observability practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 6 years of experience in datacenter/cloud networking or Software Defined Networking (SDN).

• Profound knowledge in multi-tenant isolation, overlay technologies (VXLAN/EVPN), and Layer 2/Layer 3 design.

• Practical experience with high-performance fabrics, specifically InfiniBand and/or RoCE, and RDMA — highly preferred for GPU/HPC clusters.

• Familiarity with SDN controllers and network automation processes.

• Strong capabilities in troubleshooting and fault localization in production environments.

• Experience in designing multi-region networks is an advantage.
