Cloud Migration Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design, provision, configure, and manage cloud or infrastructure components utilizing approved architectural patterns.

• Automate the provisioning, deployment, configuration, and operational tasks that are repetitive.

• Implement controls for security, identity, networking, backup, monitoring, and availability.

• Investigate incidents, capacity challenges, vulnerabilities, and performance issues.

• Maintain documentation such as runbooks, diagrams, standards, and change records.

• Collaborate effectively across engineering and operations teams.

• Build, secure, automate, and manage cloud or enterprise infrastructure and platforms.

• Contribute to the delivery lifecycle by providing reliable and maintainable solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Typically requires 4+ years in a related professional capacity.

• A minimum of 10 years of experience relevant to the position.

• Practical expertise with the primary programming language and framework, APIs, SQL, testing, Git, and CI/CD.

• Professional experience in cloud engineering, infrastructure, DevOps, or systems operations.

• Hands-on knowledge of various cloud, operating-system, container, or automation technologies.

• Understanding of the fundamentals of networking, identity, security, monitoring, and availability.

• Experience with scripting, automation, source control, or infrastructure as code.

• Ability to systematically troubleshoot infrastructure and production problems.

• Strong skills in documentation and collaboration across teams.
