Cloud Engineer, AWS, Terraform – Junior, Middle

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Deploy and maintain infrastructure on AWS using Terraform

• Provide support for existing cloud environments and troubleshoot issues

• Engage in deployment automation and CI/CD pipelines

• Document infrastructure and procedures

• Collaborate with the team to enhance security, cost efficiency, and reliability

• For the Middle profile: create reusable Terraform modules

• For the Middle profile: suggest improvements

• For the Middle profile: mentor Junior profiles

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience with AWS and Terraform: 1–2 years for Junior profiles; 3–4 years for the Middle profile

• Knowledge of core AWS services: EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, and RDS

• Familiarity with Linux

• Proficiency in scripting (Bash or Python)

• Experience with Git

• Enthusiasm for learning and teamwork

• AWS certification (Cloud Practitioner, Solutions Architect Associate, or higher) will be valued

• Experience with CI/CD (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Jenkins) will be valued

• Knowledge of containers (Docker) will be valued

• Experience in multi-account environments or with Landing Zones will be particularly valued for the Middle profile

• For the Middle profile: solid Terraform experience, including modules and remote state
